• Oscillated Wound or Mill Wound: The Steel strapping is wound in a tight uniform pattern to a coil width between 12.7mm~19.0mm.
• Ribbon Wound(RW): The steel strapping is wound onto itself so that the width of the coil is the same as that of the strap.
• Jumbo Coil: Jumbo coil can be wound into coils that weight greater than 150kg. Jumbo coils are availble for all steel strapping types in size from 19mm to 32 mm, and coil weight from 150kg to 450kg, Jumbo coil have a standard.

• Oscillate (mill,rope wound): I.D 406mm.
• Ribbon: I.D 300mm and 406mm.
• Mini Ribbon: I.D 200mm.

All steel strapping finishes are treared with a wax coating. This lubrication allows the strapping to flow smoothly in automatic, tools and around corners of products.

• Bright and oiled: The surface finish is untreated as itself with oiled. This is iust slitting full hard coil and winding.
• Blued tempered & waxed: Blued and waxed the surface finish is blued by a flame process and bluing the steel bums off foreign material from steel. Blued strapping is an economical alternative that offers similar characteristics as painted strapping with less cost.
• Painted & waxed: Painted strapping is based on blued strapping with painting process and Better for rust resistance than blued. Typically, it is available in green, black, brown and other colors.
• Zinc coated and waxed: Commonly used for prolonged outside storage, this finish offers greater rust resistance than regular painted material.

Strapping Seals

We can contribute to the product presentation of our clients by printing the corporate logos on the Ares Seals enabling their product to be distinguished from the others. We have the appropriate seals to tension the straps good enough for proper packaging.

GS Packaging is offering high quality metal seals to be used with steel strapping to ensure proper joint strength.

The choice of a specific steel seals strap is often most strongly influenced by the type of strapping machine selected to apply it.

There are five standard types of steel strapping seals.

Fast and easy to use, open seals can be placed over the strap before or after tensioning.

Must be threaded over the overlapping strap ends before the tensioning tool is applied. Generally used on bales, bundles, and larger sizes of strap.

Held together by interlocking nibs. This development allows loading partial stacks into magazines of seal feed combination tools.

Used where strap is tensioned by butting the nose of the tensioner against the seal. overlapping ends withstand the higher stress.
